Son
of Man – The Return of Jesus Christ

 

   

“First of all, my name is Joshua,” the bearded man stated in Aramaic.
This interview was being broadcasted to every nation in every language,
on television, satellite, Internet, and radio. Jesus Christ has
apparently returned, but it appears his message is much different than
expected.

     
Jesus – that is – Joshua was in an undisclosed
location with a translator and Doctor Damon Hoffman, one of the most
respected theologians in the world.

DH: Joshua …
once again you are the biggest news story in the world. I guess that
has never changed.

JC: (laughs)

DH:
Some say that miracles don’t happen anymore, but you appearing out of a
light in the sky near the Temple Mount last week sure felt like one.
Millions, if not billions, of people have become inspired. The Messiah
and Son of God has returned.

JC: I have been studying
what has transpired since I died on the cross, Damon. In fact, this
whole week I have been getting used to all of this wondrous technology.
It surely was a culture shock for me. I’ve only been sleeping a few
hours because I am awake trying to learn about this fantastic world I
live in now. And yet, I still feel that I don’t know anything about
this world.

DH: What do you mean?

JC:
Although there are so many different cultures, this world seems united
by communication. With telephones, fax machines, television, radio, and
computers, anyone can speak to another person instantaneously. It is
absolutely amazing. There is so much to learn.

DH:
Why did you opt not to visit the Pope and other religious organizations?

JC:
From what I’ve read and watched about the Pope – he says he’s
been communing with me for years. But that’s simply not true. After I
died on the cross, I went to Heaven and become one with YWHW. It is an
existence that cannot be formulated in words. It is like describing the
beauty of music in words.

DH: So … If I understand
you correctly … you were away from human affairs?

JC:
No, like I said it goes beyond words. I became one with the Lord. Being
one with Him is being everywhere. It is seeing Reality for what it is

– indescribable.

DH: I’m noticing that you
are saying some things that give me the impression you are a human
being, not divine. Is this true?

JC: I am a Son of
Man. Our Lord YHWH’s power is infinite. Before I was crucified I was
able to expand my consciousness and mind to see that having faith in
Him could give man the power to hurl mountains into the sea.

DH:
Son of Man?

JC: Yes. One of the most disturbing
things since my return has been the inaccuracies in what you call the
New Testament. I’ve never said most of those quotes attributed to me.
That is why I am here now – to tell you the truth. I was not
the Son of God. My faith in Lord YHWH granted me powers that you can
have, too. It is very introspective at first. But once you see that
Reality is God, the knowledge gained enables you to see and act in this
world differently.

DH: (pauses)

JC:
My message was and is that all persons can reach their ultimate
potential by faith in Him. Being compassionate and loving and gentle
and peaceful is a start.

DH: (pauses)

JC:
I know I’ve only been here a week, so please forgive me if I misspeak,
but my message is very similar to that of the Buddha and Mohammed. I
believe that many of the world’s religions all point to humanity
reaching its ultimate potential and becoming one with God. When I
realized that the Holy Spirit and Glory of the Lord was with me, I had
hoped that other people would follow my example and become one with Him
as well. No, I am not a God – I am not even the Son of God. I
am a man who is trying to enlighten humanity by showing the Way.

DH:
(lets out a breath)

JC: The mythology of my life and
deeds seemed to have created violent debates and even wars. But I
assure you – I am of flesh and blood just as you are.

DH:
Then how did you come back to life … twice?

JC:
Well, that is not a true question. While I was dying on the cross, I
felt His Spirit leave me. After that, again, it is impossible to
describe in words. Suffice to say that I become one with YWHW.

DH:
Did you not rise from the tomb after your death?

JC:
No, I did not.

DH: What happened to your body?

JC:
My body was unimportant.

DH: What about the people
who saw you after you died? As many as 500 people saw you.

JC:
That was a manifestation of God. It was a symbol to the people telling
them that accepting Lord YWHW into their hearts can show the pathway to
the divine.

DH: When you were a child … did you
know your purpose?

JC: (laughs) Of course not. What
child does?

DH: What about the three wise men and the
virgin birth?

JC: I really don’t remember much about
my infancy. My mother never talked about any predestination or wise men
visiting either.  I do remember my father teaching me
carpentry at an early age. I remember my brothers and sisters were not
that interested in the Torah at first. Again, it’s amazing how much a
simple life was turned into a new religion.

DH: What
about you dying for our Original Sin?

JC: That
definitely was another shock to me. I was killed because my beliefs and
preaching upset the Jewish authorities in Jerusalem. I did not preach
“an eye for an eye.” The establishment was scared because I was a
social reformer. This Original Sin notion: from what I gather it says
that Adam and Eve passed on a disease, a disease which passed on from
generation to generation … well it seems for generations that sex was
looked down upon because of this, and women have been demonized. Yet
intercourse and intimacy are something that God wants us to experience.
It’s a very exciting and important aspect of life. We have bodies and
we should use them and celebrate our love.

DH: I know
this is a controversial question, but what about homosexuality?

JC:
Homosexuality is looked down upon by the Lord in scripture. When John
the Baptist taught me about the Torah, there is no question that YWHW
found it detestable. However, society has changed so much … as long
as people let God enter their hearts and accept Him into their lives;
one’s sexual orientation is absolutely irrelevant. Love and compassion
and forgiveness are the keys to being one with the Lord.

DH:
Is there a Heaven?

JC: Heaven. Bliss … Being one
with the Lord … Nirvana … the Kingdom … it cannot be described.

DH:
Is there a Hell? According to scripture you’ve been in Hell and
resisted temptation by Satan at a mountaintop.

JC:
Because the Lord gave man free will, he will always have the capacity
to do evil and break the Lord’s commandments.

DH: But
is there a place called Hell? Where do evil people go after they die?

JC:
Things are not as black and white as it would seem.

DH:
Does Satan exist? Is he gathering his troops for Armageddon? What about
the Beast?

JC: We are our own worst enemies.
Sometimes stories and myths are told so people could relate better and
understand the message. Our doubts and disrespect for God do not come
from an external or outside source – they come from within.
Hatred of God or even denying His existence is not the Way. But as far
as “lake of fire” or “666” is
concerned – those words never came from my mouth.

DH:
So there is no Judgment Day? Haven’t you returned to judge us?

JC:
No, I have returned to spread the message again because it looks like
not many people understood it.

DH: We’ll be
right back, let’s take a rest for a few moments. Please allow
me to gather my thoughts; I was not prepared for some of your answers.

Senoit, the Dream Seeker, was watching “The
Interview” on a hotel television. He was awestruck. Indeed,
he knew the world would never be the same after today. Although
Joshua’s message has probably struck people the wrong way
because of their expectations, it hit home with Dace. Maybe
Dace’s gift is divinely inspired. Maybe he sees the Way and
is on the Path. So he smiled, and had hope that people would at least
try to listen to Joshua, even if everything they were ever taught
… was wrong.

    The Gambler let out a haughty laugh to
cover up his internal fears. He bet that Jesus would turn out to be an
imposter, and by the way Joshua is putting his foot in his mouth, it
looks like the general public will think so. But the reason that there
was a touch of fear within the Gambler’s girth is because
Joshua seemed too honest, like perhaps he really was who he claims to
be. And how ironic is it that when Jesus first lived the authorities
did not believe him? Now that he has returned they still
don’t believe him. Now the Gambler was thinking about how he
is not a spiritual person, and how difficult it would be for him to
reach this “enlightenment” Joshua was talking
about. His phone rang; it was one of his bookies out of Nevada.

 

    “Gambler, good news: the
Vatican has already prepared a statement calling Joshua a false prophet
and Anti-Christ. Looks like you rolled the dice the right
way,” the voice said.

 
    “Yeah….”
the Gambler replied. But he felt bittersweet.

The Auctioneer was suspicious of Joshua’s identity. After
all, the Auctioneer believes in God; he peddles souls for a living. He
orders the Soul Patrol to capture people who have given up hope in
life, and then auctions off the “goods” to the
highest bidder. Doesn’t the existence of souls and magic
offer evidence that a God exists and is aware of what happens on earth?
This ‘Joshua’ is implying that God is faceless.
Certainly, Jesus knows the good work I do down here, doesn’t
he? The Auctioneer pondered.

Realtor was watching a giant screen plasma television in a large office
building. His cronies surrounded him in his office, and were shocked at
what was transpiring. They were also shocked that the Realtor knew
nothing about “The Interview”. But for some reason,
he was grinning ear to ear….

Dr. Damon Hoffman: We’re back to the most
controversial and newsworthy interview of all time. In fact, some
circles are calling it “The Interview.” I’m here
with a man named Joshua who appeared out of the sky in a white flash
last week at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. For those of you who are
just tuning in, Joshua claims to have been crucified thousands of years
ago. After his death, he became one with God. Now, Joshua has returned
to give humanity his message again because apparently we did not get it
the first time. Joshua, whom we know as Jesus Christ, claims that he is
not the Son of God. It was through his faith and religious studies that
enabled him to see God’s reality as it is, and it was then that he
developed powers and awareness beyond the capabilities of normal men.
But the key is that he says we all can do that; humanity has unlimited
potential. Let us now continue.…

JC: Thank
you, Damon.

DH: Joshua, during the 15-minute break,
reports from around the world depict many people and organizations in
utter disbelief, disappointment, and outrage.

JC: It is a shame people are blinded by their expectations or preconceived
notions. Is not my return a miracle? I have returned in the flesh,
hoping to show humanity the Way to the Kingdom.

DH:
Kingdom?

JC: Being one with the Lord.

DH:
Vatican City has labeled you as the Beast or anti-Christ; the Pope is
one of the most influential men in the world.

JC:
Those who do not believe will be denied entry into the Kingdom.
Disbelieving in me is rejecting the Lord, and He detests when his
creatures reject Him. That is because they are rejecting themselves.
God is within each and every one of us. To deny Him is to deny you.

DH:
Are you the only way to God?

JC: I cannot speak for
other people, only myself. I have experienced God and He has sent me
back to this world in the flesh. Is that not enough?

DH:
All of the world’s religions have certain traditions and customs. If
one does not observe these customs, will he or she be denied entry into
the Kingdom?

JC: Religion as it is practiced today
seems to have deviated from their sources. The first and only source is
God. I speak for the Lord. Therefore, the words I speak are true and
show the Path to the Kingdom.

DH: If you had not
appeared out of nothingness on television and in front of so many
witnesses, you would not have been given this forum to address the
world. Many people have claimed to be Messiahs, but none could perform
miracles. Are there any other miracles you could perform?

JC:
You mean besides appearing out of thin air after not being in flesh for
over 2000 years?

DH: Yes.

JC: If I
have to walk on water, I will. But humanity should already have faith
in Lord God because I am speaking to them right now. I am no parlor
magician! How base is it for me to perform tricks for people?

DH:
Do you consider yourself the Messiah?

JC: No, I
simply know God.

DH: What do you plan to do now that
you’ve made your presence known?

JC: I will choose
nine disciples to spread my message. I will be on large communication
outlets encouraging humanity to have faith in Lord God.

DH:
Nine? What capacity will these people function?

JC:
The Nine that I will choose each see a different aspect of Lord God.
After I teach them the Way, they will see Lord God in His entirety.
Then they shall pass on the Truth.

DH: Are you afraid
of assassination attempts?

JC: I do not fear your
conception of death. With that I will be going now. I’m sure this is a
lot to digest. I will be speaking publicly very soon. May God be with
you. Good night.

DH: Well there you have it, ladies
and gentlemen. This is Doctor Hoffman signing off. Now back to your
regularly scheduled programming.

   

At this point, Joshua disappeared into thin air – no camera
tricks!

Nehal Singh took a sip from his liquor glass in his den. Joshua sat on
the couch with a brandy in his left hand, a lit cigar in his right. The
room was dimly lit, with the only sources of light being the large
television set, and a few sun-rays sneaking through the blinds.

           
“Phase Two finished. Time for Phase Three, Curtis,” Nehal said to the
man who claimed to be Joshua.

           
Curtis shrugged. “These first two phases were the most difficult. It
was very difficult to bargain for the teleportation device from the
Realtor, and speaking to the entire world. Everything else from now
will be a walk in the park.”

           

Nehal replied, “Curtis, I just want to reiterate that you are the
greatest actor the world has ever known!”

           
Curtis let out a small laugh. “Gotcha!”

           
Nehal rubbed his hands excitedly as he continued. “I am so high right
now. There’s no greater feeling than having one’s master plan come to
fruition. Ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!! Oh, YES! It’s orgasmic!!!”

           
Curtis took another sip from his glass. “If you’re in a state of
ecstasy now, how will you feel after I turn over the world to you and
the organization?”

           
Nehal began to laugh again and he could not contain himself –
he was prancing all around the room. “I am the One, the Leader of the
War Purgers, and I am here to steer humanity in the right direction! I
am their true Messiah! I will herald this planet into a new Golden Age!
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!!!!! YES! I did it! I – WE pulled
it off! The sheep need to be herded, and I shall lead them!”
